Neil Stewart MSc BSc MMACP MCSP

Neil graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first class honours degree in 2006, after initially graduating from Sussex University where he studied Biology.

He decided to move back to the area due to his love of the sea, downs and Brighton living.

Neil worked at Western Sussex Hospitals Trust where he managed the MSK Physiotherapy Out Patient department, and also worked in the A&E minors department.

During his time at Western, he went on to Study for a Masters Degree at Brighton University and is now a member of the MACP.

In 2015, he became an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist and works for  the MSK/MATT Clinic which is part of Sussex Community NHS Trust.  He works along side the Orthopaedic team at University Hospitals Sussex and specialises in the treatment and management of hips, knees and the lumbar spine.

Neil is passionate about education and the treatment and management of hip pain. He has been able to combine both of these passions and now lectures nationally for the MACP on the use of radiology in the treatment and management of hip pain. He also enjoys mentoring post graduate MSc students at both Brighton and Hertfordshire Universities.

When he is not working he enjoys paddle boarding, surfing, mountain biking and hitting the gym.
