I graduated from Sussex University in 2001 with a degree in Biology. Owing to my interest in human anatomy and sports, I then attended Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003 to study physiotherapy. I graduated with a first class honours degree
Initially I worked for Western Sussex Hospitals trust where I became a managerial lead in the outpatient department of Worthing hospital. I also worked with in A and E minors department for two years. Here I treated everything from severe sciatica to sprains, dislocations and fractures.
Currently I am working as an Extended Scope Physiotherapy Specialist. My clinical specialty is in the treatment of patients with back, hip and knee pain; and work closely with the orthopaedic surgeons in the Coastal West Sussex area.
I am a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), due to the completion of my postgraduate diploma, and I am working towards converting this into a masters degree at the University of Brighton.
